Changes to Peace for Pets, Inland Northwest

Effective: August 1st, 2025

Dr. Laura launched Peace for Pets over a year ago and has since found a true sense of fulfilment and pride. She is happy to announce a new addition to her family, yet saddened to take a step back from appointments while she cherishes her growing family on maternity leave.

Thanks to our wonderful Associate Veterinarians we will continue providing compassionate end-of-life care to pets and families across the Inland Northwest.

New Service Areas

  • Dr. Leah Sloan will still be serving these areas but on a part-time basis resulting in limited availability and longer wait times. We are actively searching for another veterinarian to cover these areas to offer more availability. If you need an urgent appointment we recommend calling just in case and/or provide us your information in case of a cancellation.

  • Thanks to the help of Dr. Sara Garrett, DVM, as of August 25, 2025 we are now able to help the families of Pend Oreille, Bonner, and Kootenai Counties.

Availability may be limited in these areas but we will do everything we can to help your family during your time of need.

  • Dr. Emilee Repp has been our consistent associate veterinarian for these areas and availability will not be affected by these changes.Description text goes here

  • Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to be able to provide care to these areas. We will update our website if we are open to availability in the future.

Due to changes the Comfort Center will be out of commission until further notice

We will no longer have the resources to provide care to Exotics and will be limited to dogs and cats.
